Bookings

A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking.
The final payment is due 60 days prior to arrival.

Any form of payment constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions stated on this website.

Payments

Payments can be made by bank transfer or TransferWise. Payment details will be provided upon reservation.

Any charges incurred for international transfer transactions are to be borne by the guest from the country of remittance. Exchange rates are calculated on the day of the transaction.

All payments made by credit card (Visa and MasterCard) are subject to a 3.5% surcharge.

Extras and expenses incurred at the property can be settled by cash, bank transfer, or credit card.

Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellation, the 30% deposit is non-refundable.


For cancellations received more than 60 days prior to arrival, any additional payments made may be credited toward a future stay within one year from the date of the original payment.

No refund or credit will be provided for cancellations within 60 days of arrival or for no-shows.

Ombak Biru will exercise all reasonable care in the provision of its services and activities. Guests participate in all activities and use all services at Ombak Biru entirely at their own risk.

Ombak Biru accepts no liability for any injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, expense, or other claim arising from participation in activities or the use of services, including circumstances where staff may have negligently breached a duty of care.

Ombak Biru will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, including consequential or economic loss, arising from such injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, or expense, however caused.

This tax has been implemented in 2016 of Rp 2 000 000 per visit per surfer. The Mentawais are made up of a chain of outer islands with remote villages who have benefited very little from the 20 year surf industry.
